By creating an account or using AIM, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the service.

AIM is a private network where writers connect with people they trust and exchange editorial feedback on creative work.

AIM is not a publishing platform, marketplace, or public forum. Pieces are not publicly listed.

You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.

You are responsible for activity under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use AIM.

You keep ownership of everything you write on AIM.

You grant AIM and matched editors in your network permission to read your submitted pieces solely to provide editorial feedback.

You grant AIM permission to store and display your pieces and edits within the service to you and the relevant matched writers.

Do not submit work you do not have the right to share, or content that is illegal, harassing, or threatening.

Treat other writers' work as confidential. Do not share, publish, or quote another person's piece outside AIM without their permission.

Editors see profile notes (challenges, insecurities) only to give better feedback — use that context respectfully.

Submitting a piece for editing costs one credit. Completing an edit for someone in your network earns one credit.

Credits have no monetary value and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.

Use AIM in good faith: connect with writers you know, give honest edits, and respect deadlines you accept.

Do not spam invites, harass other users, attempt to access others' accounts, or scrape the service.

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

AIM is provided as-is. Editorial feedback comes from other writers, not professional editors. We do not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or availability of edits.

We are not liable for any loss related to your use of the service, including lost work — though we take reasonable care to keep your data safe.

We may change these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

You may stop using AIM at any time. We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
